Server Migration FAQ

Output messenger can be migrated from the old server to the new server easily.

Actions to be performed

1. Install Output Messenger Server Application in New Server.
2. Stop Output Messenger Server Service in New Server.
3. Copy the following files from the old server and paste it in the Output Messenger Server folder in the new server.
   • OMLs.db3 – Server installed path
   • ls.cfg – Server installed path
   • OutputCalendar.db3 – Server installed path
   • Plugins(Folder) – Server installed path
   • Client folder\Profile(Folder) – Server installed path
   • Status History(Folder) – Server installed path
   • Calendar Files(Folder) – Server installed path
   • Files Storage Folder – Folder in which you store the files that you transfer(Folder entered in “Output Messenger Server Manager” > “File Transfer Mode” > “Transfer through Server & Archive in Folder”)
   • Chat History Log storage folder

2. After copying, start the Output Messenger Server Service.
3. Try connecting the client with New Server IP Address / Host Name.
