You can view your previous chat conversation in our Output Messenger. All your conversations will be displayed to you with date and time.
Note: Chat text which is sent as OTR – Off the Record message, cannot be retrieved on the client-side.
Chat Logs can be retrieved in two ways:
- Chat History
- View Log
Chat History
Previous conversations with a particular user can be retrieved in his own chat window.
- Open the Chat window of the respective user and Click the history icon on the top right corner of the chat window.
- Select the time period and chat will be displayed in chat window.
You can also use “Ctrl+F” to search specific words.
View Log
View Log displays all the conversations done by you.
You can have the following filters,
- Keywords
- Users
- Time Period
- File
- Attachment
- Chat Room
- From Starred Messages
To view your whole conversation of the day, Right Click on the user Listing page > Click ‘View Log’.
By default, the conversation of the present date will be displayed. You can customize it with Keywords and user’s search.
Central Log – For Administrator & Managers
Administrator & Manager role users can view chat log of all users from Client itself. On the View Log window, click on the Central Log option and view the chat log of all your users.
